The JSJ4-12 Arm Restraint Outer Gear is a replacement gear used in the swing arm restraint system on compatible John Bean, Hofmann, and Challenger automotive lifts.

The toothed outer gear works with the mating arm restraint components to help hold the lift arm in its selected position after it has been positioned beneath the vehicle.
