The Hofmann JSJ4-12 Arm Restraint Outer Gear is used in the arm locking and restraint system on select 10,000 lb 2-post lifts.

This part also fits certain Challenger 2-post lift models.

This outer gear meshes with the restraint shaft and mating gear components to control arm rotation and ensure positive locking once the lift is raised.
