OEM Rotary Lift capacitor for various power units, including those with FA7350/FA7370/FA7379/FA7372 motors. This is a 450VAC dual unit, 42.5uF (each), measuring approximately 3-27/32″ tall.
This capacitor is also used on many P3000 series power units, including: P3006, P3051, P3093, P3291, P3391, P3536, P3544, P3546, P3547, P3548, P3563, P3564, P3565, P3571, P3172, P3181, P3182, P3372, P3374, and P3433.
A capacitor gives the motor a strong burst of torque to get the hydraulic pump turning under load. If your power unit capacitor is failing, it will usually cause the motor to:
- Hum but not turn
- Start slowly or only after several attempts
- Trip the breaker
- Overheat
- Struggle to raise the lift, especially with a vehicle on it
- Work intermittently
