The arm restraint Pawl is a critical component of the arm restraint mechanism in Rotary 2-Post lifts. It engages with the arm restraint gear to lock the lift arms securely during operation, ensuring operator safety and lift stability.

This pawl has angled triangular teeth and only mates properly with the same style of gear (N2122).  If your pawl has squared teeth, it’s the older 120T Gear Block (FJ7749) and has to be upgraded to the pawl shown on this page – you’ll also have to upgrade to the newer style gear (N2122).

Alternatively, you can purchase the full arm restraint conversion kit which includes both the triangular style gear and pawl.
